If using Apache as a proxy to the application server, and users are seeing the following

in their Browsers:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

It may suggest the configured proxy module (http or ajp) is not installed.

Try changing the protocol in the Proxy Server Configuration and have the user reset

their web mapping.
